Inspection services include supplier expediting, supplier auditing, mill surveillance, pre-shipment inspection, loading supervision, site inspection and NDT etc.

  • Supplier Expediting

    Great losses may be brought by any delay of products. So, to reduce or eliminate any potential delays and provide the clients greatest benefits, CIMA can send very experienced expeditors to the projects to accelerate the progress for the clients.

  • Supplier Auditing

    According to clients' requirements, CIMA can supply assessment to mill's quality management system, or operating etc.

  • Mill Surveillance

    For mill surveillance, CIMA can provide competent quality assurance inspectors on site to oversee all stages of production involving:
    Monitoring the manufacturing, inspection and/or testing of materials
    Assuring compliance to manufacturer's and client's requirements
    Inspection activities at vendor location include:
    1. Review of Purchase Order (PO) to verify completeness
    2. Verify acknowledgement of PO.
    3. Review of exceptions and deviations to PO.
    4. Effective Reporting / inspection time schedule
    5. Major Sub-order schedule
    6. Production schedule / PO.Delivery Date (Expediting)
    7. Finalizing Inspection & Test Plan (Criticality Rating)
    8. Identification of special Test & Inspection Procedures
    9. Traceability of materials and certification
    10. Non-Conformance and Concession Request Procedure.
    11. Notification procedure for inspection
    12. Manufacturer QC Data Report preparation

  • Pre-shipment Inspection

    After the manufacturing of goods has been completed, the full or partial (random) inspection of the goods can be carried out to check for compliance within contractual specifications. CIMA can send inspectors for the pre-shipment inspection which is concerned with the quality and quantity of the product.
    The pre-shipment inspection may include the following activities:
    Visual Inspection
    Dimensional Inspection
    Witness Test
    Documentation Review
    Packing and Marking

  • Loading Supervision

    To avoid the losses caused by damage of products when loading & unloading insecurely and incorrectly, CIMA can dispatch qualified inspectors who have extensive experience in many ports of China to supervise the loading & unloading for the clients.
    The loading supervision may include the following inspections:
    Packing and Marking Status
    Loading Process
    Transport Status, such as the ship, cargo etc
    Loading Documents Review
    Other Information

  • Site Inspection

    Independent inspectors carry out the site inspection on the oil field/construction field to make sure the new/used goods in the good condition. The inspection has been done in such a way to ensure the maximum life expectancy and elimination of repeat repairs, such as used drill pipes.Inspections can be carried out against a 10% sample of work done or 100% if required.
